We are four people in Amposta, a small city in southern Catalonia where the Ebro River meets the Mediterranean. We design digital product interfaces.
The studio started in 2020 when two of us left a Barcelona agency to start something smaller and more focused. We wanted to do proper user research on every project, not just the big-budget ones. Four years in, that is still the rule. Every project gets research, every design gets tested, every decision has data behind it.
We have designed about 55 products so far. Health apps, fintech dashboards, educational platforms, travel tools, and a few things that are harder to categorize. Most clients are in Spain, but we also work with companies in France, Portugal, Germany, and the UK. Everything works fine over video calls and Figma.
Amposta is not a tech hub. It is a farming town surrounded by rice paddies and flamingos. But it is calm, the rent is affordable, and Tarragona and Barcelona are a short train ride away. That is all we need.
No exceptions. We do not design based on what the founder thinks users want. We find out what they actually need.
Maze usability testing on every project. Real data, not designer hunches.
Amposta is slow and quiet. That is good for design work. Clear thinking needs space.
